Jumper: New Look
Dress: Boutique
Necklace & Ring: Topshop
Earrings: River Island
Bracelets: H & M
Watch: Michael Kors

I'm not entirely sure if you'll have noticed, but I'm trying my hardest to keep up with blogging regularly at the minute. I adore blogging but hate the 'pressure' that can sometimes come with it - it shouldn't feel like a chore, so if I don't want to blog, I don't. Lately I've been craving getting back to posting (REGULARLY) because I know that I personally love blogs that update. That's not to say I won't love your blog if you don't - I'm just more drawn to those that I can check every few days and find something new. So I'm attempting to make mine (a bit) more like that.

I bought this jumper a few weeks back from New Look and I AM IN LOVE WITH IT. Okay, so I'd previously been into Primark and spent WAY more money than originally intended, so when I waltzed into New Look it was with a little voice in my head saying a very firm 'I do not need to buy anything else'. However, when I laid my eyes on this absolute beauty I just could not say no. I actually think I let out a little squeal and exclaimed; 'IT'S MAGICAL!' when it first caught my attention (hence the blog title - it just makes me think of magical fairies and unicorns, I'm weird I know) It's just such a pretty jumper; I adore the rainbow of colours as well as the delicate knit, and I purposely bought it a fair few sizes bigger to go for a bit of an oversized look. I thought it looked quite cute with this tunic/dress I got from a little boutique near me, and my beloved skull necklace which I seem to be wearing constantly at the minute.

Are you pleased it's turning colder and we can finally dig out our snuggly knits, or are you mourning the loss of summer?

Dove Nourishing Oil Care

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Leave-in Conditioner (£3.39) & Regenerating Mask (£3.99)

I'd seen a few rave reviews of the Dove Nourishing Oil Care range (the gold one, basically) on several blogs, and seeing as my hair is never usually in the best of states (I wash it far too much, I back-comb it far too much), I thought it best to invest in a couple of the products to see what the fuss was all about. I decided to go for the Leave-In Conditioner (because it's something easy to spruce my hair up - a few sprays and *fingers crossed* my hair would thank me for it) and the Regenerating Mask.

First up - the Leave-In Conditioner. Simply put - I'm SO glad I bought this product. I've tried a few leave-in conditioners in the past but this one is most definitely my favourite. For a start - it smells divine, with a mix of almond and coconut, it smells so sweet and yummy, almost good enough to eat (I definitely don't advise this). It claims to contain 'dual benefits' - basically, you shake it up before spraying and reap the benefits of its 'smoothing' and 'conditioning' contents. I definitely think it works. My hair is usually a huge frizzy, knotty mess after washing, which is pretty damn hard to get a comb through. However, when I spritz this baby on I find it so much easier to untangle, and it feels SO smooth and strong once dried. I've never seen my hair as nice and shiny and (I'll say it again) SMOOTH as it is when I use this. Definitely worth a try if you have frizzy/knotty/bad-conditioned hair. It can also be used on wet OR dry hair, which is always good!

Onto the Regenerating Mask. I have tried a LOT of 'deep-conditioning', 'hydrating' and 'regenerating' masks before, so I have a good idea about what I expect from them. I always leave mine on for 5-10 minutes, wash out and see what results I get. I love the feeling of having really soft, smooth hair after a deep-conditioning treatment, but I didn't really find it with this. Yes, it makes your hair feel nice, but it didn't really 'wow' me. There are definitely better deep-conditioners out there, so I felt a bit let down by Dove's offering, especially considering how much I liked the Leave-In Conditioner. It's not that I dislike the product, it just didn't do anything extraordinary and I expected a lot more really.

Both retail between the £3-£4 mark, so they're definitely affordable. I would most certainly recommend the Leave-In Conditioner, but if you are looking for a really good deep treatment mask I would steer clear of this one, as there are much better ones on the market. Have you tried any of the products from Dove's Nourishing Oil Care range? What did you think?

Jackie Brazil Indiana Jones Necklace

Jackie Brazil Indiana Jones Necklace* in Pink - £45 via

As you all probably know, I have a bit of a 'thing' for jewellery. Over the years I have accumulated rather a lot of it - but my collection insists on growing! If it's not a treat in Topshop, a splurge on Disney Couture or a cheap trinket in Primark, I also have a bit of a penchant for jewellery of the hand-made/unusual variety. Therefore, when I was offered the oppurtunity to review a piece of jewellery from Jackie Brazil's collection at, I was more than happy to oblige. stocks a range of different jewellery brands, but Jackie Brazil really stood out to me. The pieces are bright, quirky and unusual, and I absolutely adore the necklace I was sent. It's on a long chain and is the perfect way to add something fun to an otherwise dull outfit. What I especially love about the necklace is that it's one of a kind - each piece of jewellery by Jackie Brazil is unique and therefore nobody else has a necklace like mine! It's also eco friendly, which is always a bonus!

What do you think to Jackie Brazil jewellery? I have my eye on this gorgeous bracelet - it reminds me of Pic 'n' Mix!

Falling down the rabbit hole

Dress: H & M
Jumper: H & M
Necklace: Disney Couture
Watch: Michael Kors

I know, I know, I've been absolutely useless when it comes to blogging lately. I finally think I've worked out how to strike the balance between full time work and blogging though, so expect lots more posts from here on out!

Wore this outfit on Friday - the weather is at that awful 'undecided' stage at the minute where it can't work out whether it's summer or autumn, so to tackle this I've been increasingly wearing jumpers, whilst sticking with bare legs to strike some sort of balance with the weather. To be perfectly honest, I can't wait for it to get into autumn properly because I just love A/W fashion and everything that comes with it. Anyway, I bought the jumper and dress (specifically to wear together) a while back from H & M. I'm a sucker for animal print so just had to get this dress, and I'm loving collars and jumpers at the minute so this outfit ticks all those boxes for me. It's great because it's perfect for summer AND winter, something I find is a bit of a rarity with most outfits! Of course I had to coordinate it with my trusty MAC Candy Yum Yum lippy, which goes perfectly with the jumper, if I do say so myself!

How are you coping with this awkward weather? Still rocking summer clothes or eager for winter, or somewhere in between?

MAC Morange Lipstick

MAC Morange - £12.60 via Debenhams (with 10% off)

I've been craving a new MAC lippy for quite a while now - MAC is definitely my favourite brand when it comes to lipsticks, for their quality and huuuuuge range of colours. I was having a bad day and so inevitably found myself giving into my internet shopping urge and placing a cheeky order. I felt I was justified though - there is currently 10% off cosmetics at Debenhams (until Sunday - get your orders in quick!) and it's free delivery too - hooray for them stocking MAC!

I usually go for pinks when it comes to lipsticks but I do have a few reds and corals lying around too. I've never really had a true ORANGE lipstick though, and I felt the need to change this, asap. Mainly from me having a huge style-crush on Rita Ora, who is forever rocking the red or orange lip, but also because I felt it might spice up my upcoming A/W wardrobe and add a little 'zing' (pardon the pun) to my outfits. I've always had my eye on MAC's 'Morange' lipstick so bit the bullet and bought it. I love it. I wouldn't describe it as a 'true' orange, as it has a slight hint of red, and is an amplified formula so definitely packs a punch. I can't wait to wear it with leopard-print shirts and chunky knits when it gets a bit cooler!

Do you have MAC's Morange? Any other orange lipstick recommendations?
