Gift Editors Project

A little while ago I was contacted by the lovely people at Most Wanted, the lifestyle magazine made by the number one voucher website, VoucherCodes, to see if I'd be interested in putting together a selection of gifts that fit under the 'Under £10', 'Under £30' and 'Under £50' brackets for their Gift Editor Project. I'm a big fan of Christmas and know how it can be a struggle to find the perfect Christmas gifts at the right prices, so I've scoured the net for some of the bits and bobs I think would make perfect gifts this Christmas.

First up; under £10. Perhaps one of the trickier price brackets to get right, if you're shopping on a budget it can sometimes seem a bit of a struggle to find the perfect gift. Luckily, our highstreet and online stores have answered our prayers and come up with some gorgeous gifts for a teeny tiny price. This 'Mini Hottie' handwarmer from River Island is the perfect stocking filler at only £4 in the sale, and it's perfect for the chilly weather we're currently being graced with. As soon as I spied this beautiful manicure set on the Boots website it had to be mine - for £8 it comes in a cute little case with a floral design all over the scissors, tweezers etc. I've never seen a manicure kit like this before and think it's seriously cute! Finally, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a good Christmassy book, and Lindsey Kelk's 'I Heart Christmas' is the perfect present for the bookworms on your Christmas present list. I haven't read it yet, but I've read all her previous books and adored them, so I have high hopes for this! At only £3.75, it makes a perfect yet affordable gift.

If you have a little more cash to splash, then a look at the under £30 items I've put together might just help you come up with some ideas. Of course, I couldn't resist popping some pyjamas into this gift guide - if you don't get some pjs for Christmas this year, then there is definitely something wrong with the world. I think pyjamas make the perfect Christmas present, and this Bambi top and short set from Topshop is the cutest thing ever, and totally perfect for this time of year. It's not the cheapest at £20, but it makes a really special present - I mean, who doesn't like Disney pjs?! Of course, a gift set from The Body Shop is absolutely essential, and what's even better is that there is currently a voucher for The Body Shop that gives you an amazing 50% off - just use the code '19809' - it's free delivery over a fiver too. Whilst a lot of stuff is selling out fast, this Chocomania Set is perfect for chocoholics out there and is a total steal for half price at £12.50! The last item in my under £30 is a snazzy iPhone case from Accessorize, complete with gemstones, and ideal for any technology magpies out there. I for one would adore this in my stocking this Christmas! Plus, Accessorize also have free delivery on at the moment - score!

Finally, if you're feeling really flush this Christmas, or looking for the perfect gift for someone special, then the under £50 price bracket is for you. Now, I debated going all out and looking for that one gift for £50, but when I did a bit of savvy shopping I found you could get some amazing bits for a fair bit under £50. For the makeup mavens out there, a Dior eyeshadow palette would be an ideal gift, and whilst these are usually around £40, I found them for £32 on Escentual, which I think is a total steal. Another gift I am seriously excited about is 'The Yule Monty' giftset from Soap & Glory. Now, Boots have been doing their infamous 'Star Gifts' each week running up to Christmas, and I've been keeping my eye out ready for this one to arrive. Reduced from tomorrow tomorrow, this big bountiful giftset usually retails at £60, but for one week only you can get it at an amazing £27, only at Boots. I'm a big Soap & Glory fan and I can honestly say I don't think there is one woman out there who wouldn't be happy with this gift. Fellas, take note! This will probably sell out in lightning speed so I'd get in there quick if you're after it!

And there you have it, my Gift Editors selection for VoucherCode's Most Wanted. What do you think to the bits I chose? I hope this post has helped you come up with some last-minute pressie ideas!
