Kawaii Stationery Haul

I love stationery. I know a lot of bloggers are a big fan, but I've honestly always been a little bit obsessed with it. Growing up I collected gel pens, took three pencil cases to school and owned every notebook imaginable. I'm not much different now - whilst my affection for gel pens has faded into oblivion, my love for stationery of all shapes and sizes has most definitely remained.

January is definitely the month of stationery in my opinion - I'm talking back to school planners, 2014 diaries, as well as 'Shopping List' notepads with an endless array of healthy foods written on them, in the hope it will push us all to stick to our resolutions. Whilst I'm still yet to find my dream 2014 diary, I have been having a little bit of a splurge on the kawaii stationery out there.

I adore kawaii stationery - I don't know why, but the Japanese just seem to have the cutest, quirkiest taste in stationery, and whilst Paperchase has been hot on their heels, I don't think anything compares to the likes of Molang the bunny and the other colourful characters featured on their stationery. I hate that it's so hard to find this kind of eclectic, pretty patterned cuteness on UK shores, but luckily, a recent trip (or three) on Ebay has introduced me to a few UK sellers who specialise in this kind of stationery.

First up - introducing my cute little paper dolls calendar. I invested in a desktop calendar last year and have been the look-out for another ever since 2013 came to an end. This one is seriously sweet, with little dolls on each page, and I just love the vintage-y feel it has. Whilst these kind of calendars aren't really the best if you like writing down what you're doing on a day-to-day basis, they sure look cute sitting on your desk. What's better is that this one was only £4.

Next up, as soon as I saw these Molang sticky notes for a mere £1.99 I clicked 'Buy it Now' almost immediately. I've always loved the cute little bunny and I'm in desperate need of more post-it notes, so this seemed ideal. Of course, once I'd bought it, I went on to discover the seller had even more cute little memo pads and sticky notes in the Molang-theme, so I couldn't resist getting the folding memo pad/sticky notes too. Available in a few different designs, these little fold-up books contain dozens of different, cute little sticky notes and memo pads to keep things organised. There's even some little thin ones to use as page markers, and ones shaped like the Molang bunny.

I am in love with all my new kawaii stationery and I can definitely see an obsession coming on! Is anyone else a fan?
