Magic Wand Bubble Bar, Snow Fairly Sparkle Bar, The Christmas Penguin, Shoot for the Stars Bath Ballistic, Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Star Light, Star Bright - Lush
One of my favourite things about this period after Christmas has got to be the fact that all of the gorgeous Christmas bits from Lush go on sale. I am a huge fan of Lush but I can't always afford to splash out on their bath ballistics and bubble bars, so this time of the year is my perfect excuse to have a little splurge whilst all the good stuff is reduced.
I haven't bought anything from Lush in ages, but after my boyfriend got me the Bunty gift set, my love for Lush was reignited and I just had to place a sneaky sale order. I bought a fair bit, but it was all under £20, which I think is great considering the amount I got. Nothing on its own cost more than £3, which is a great price for Lush.
So what did I get? Well, my first port of call was Snow Fairy Shower Gel - like most people, I adore the Snow Fairy scent and honestly don't think anything else compares, so when Christmas comes around I'm always keen to get my hands on it. I was hoping I'd get the big 500g bottle, but as it was out of stock I settled for four 100g bottles instead, at £1.75 a piece. Expensive still, I know, but I just can't put a price on the amazing scent!
Sticking with Snow Fairy, I also popped the Sparkle Bar into my shopping basket. I think this is a fairly new addition to the Snow Fairy range, and I'm really eager to give it a go. I wasn't entirely sure what this was to begin with, but it's basically a massage bar, that you crush up to use on your skin. It's super moisturising and gives your skin a gorgeous glittery sheen, whilst obviously smelling beautiful, as all Snow Fairy's products do.
The Magic Wand Bubble Bar is another Snow Fairy-scented creation, which is seriously cute as it looks just like a magic wand, even with an added little bell. This is basically a bubble bar to use in the bath to create bubbles (obviously), and it's really easy to use as you can just whirl it around in the tub a bit and voila - bubbles aplenty.
Star Light, Star Bright is a beautiful silver star Bath Melt that is seriously moisturising, packed with cocoa and shea butter. It'll leave your skin beautifully moisturised and sparkly, and will fill your bath with glitter. As pretty as it is, it's also REALLY messy, as it's super hydrating and nourishing on the skin, as well as being covered in silver glitter. Once you touch it you'll be covered in silver lustre, which can be good or bad, depending on how much you like glitter!
I couldn't resist placing The Christmas Penguin into my basket. I'd seen that cute little, slightly odd-looking face on Instagrams aplenty over the festive period, and had serious bath-envy, so it was inevitable I was going to make him mine once sale time came round. He's basically a bubble bar stunningly scented with orange flower and Sicilian mandarin oil, creating a really invigorating and bubbly atmosphere.
Finally, I opted for the Shoot for the Stars Bath Ballistic. I'd heard a lot about how this transforms your bath into a beautiful lilac, pink and yellow haven, with a sweet honey-like fragrance. I love the fun aspect Lush's bath ballistics bring to bath time and this definitely looks like it'll make my bathing experience magical.
Overall I am really pleased with my Lush sale buys, and have to say out of all the sales I've seen this year, Lush has been my favourite. What do you think to the bits I got? Are you a fan of Lush?
