In a bid to improve my eating habits and try out jazz my diet up a bit, I recently took part in the #AlproTops campaign, with Alpro, one of my favourite food brands. The campaign is basically all about shaking up your breakfast and experimenting with new toppings and combinations. As part of the challenge I was sent a bundle full of toppings and yoghurts, all of which were to help me create daily #AlproTops to show you guys. You see, I'm not very experimental when it comes to food - I stick to what I know and never really branch out. My average breakfast is toast or weetabix with a bit of honey and raisins thrown in, so I saw the campaign as a little challenge to see how experimental I could be.
The lovely people at Alpro provided me with toppings from dark chocolate flakes to mango cubes, mint to coconut powder. I was also sent some loooovely bowls to display all my creations in, along with some yoghurts and tips on which toppings go best with which yoghurt. As much as I love yoghurt, I definitely don't eat nearly enough of it so this campaign has definitely improved that. It has also seen me try some new combinations and has definitely broadened my horizons when it comes to healthy eating!
