Polish for Tans* - Models Own
Summer might be drawing to a close, but if you're lucky enough to still have a summer glow (or, if you're heading on your holidays soon or a year-round faux tanner like myself) then the new 'Polish for Tans' shades by Models Own will be right up your street.
Models Own have been one of my favourite nail polish brands ever since they existed, so whenever a new launch comes up I always get excited to try what newness they have to offer. I was particularly excited to hear they had extended their 'Polish for Tans' range* with some new shades, as I fake tan regularly and love a polish that makes me look even more golden and glowing. There are five new additions to the collection, and I was kindly sent four of them to road-test for you guys and I have to say - I'm impressed.
The new additions include (L-R) Malibu Pink, Sarong Wrap, Turquoise Sea and Beach Hut. Malibu Pink is my favourite of the bunch - it's a gorgeously sweet, Barbie pink that looks so incredible on and I've been wearing it non-stop since I got it. Turquoise Sea is the most opaque of the bunch and certainly makes a statement - as does Beach Hut, which is an almost fluorescent orange. Sarong Wrap is a lovely sunny bright yellow shade that definitely comes up more opaque than the majority of yellows I've tried in the past, although it's probably the least opaque of the bunch here.
Each of the shades applies really well and are long-lasting and super glossy. They do chip after a few days, but for £4.99 each I think these are amazing value and well worth investing in if you like bright shades or polishes that complement a tan.
