Since moving into my own place, I've become a little bit obsessed with buying homeware. If you watch my YouTube channel you'll have seen I've been doing a fair few homeware hauls, and I'm just a bit addicted to making my house look as pretty as possible. As much as I love buying clothes, there's something so much more satisfying about buying things for your home and looking at all the prettiness afterwards.
I thought it was about time I gave you a little peek at my house, and one of the rooms that I'm really in love with right now is my sitting room. It's very different from my usual style, but I've fallen head over heels with the copper trend and so it's been a big part of the styling for this room. I've also really taken a liking to grey, which is a colour I never used to get excited about (you know I'm a baby blue/pink girl at heart). I really love how modern and fresh the room looks and definitely think the mix of white and grey furniture with the copper accents works beautifully.
We have oak laminate flooring in our sitting room and although I do love a good carpet, the laminate is so much easier to keep clean and makes the room look even more modern and on trend. I think it works really well with the grey and copper too. We've not invested in a rug yet but I have my eye on one from Dunelm - I fell in love with one from Habitat but it's just too pricey!
Most of the bits I've bought for the room are from places like Asda Home, Primark, TK Maxx and Ikea. The cute little balloon dog is from The Range and it's basically my favourite thing ever. All of the cushions are from Asda, as are the curtains, and copper frame and candle holder are from Primark. There is so much copper in the shops right now - and I'm loving it.
What are you currently loving interior-wise? I hope you liked having a little glimpse into what I've been buying homeware-wise lately, and having a peek at some snippets of my sitting room.
