April's Love Me Beauty Box

We all know beauty subscription boxes are pretty much the norm nowadays, but one I hadn't really heard of until recently was Love Me Beauty. I've tried a few beauty boxes in the past and have always been pretty impressed with their offering, but I was particularly intrigued by the Love Me Beauty box* as the brand really seems to focus on your box being tailored to you.

When you sign up to Love Me Beauty, you basically run through things like your skin type, hair colour, what beauty products you're most interested in etc, and using this Love Me Beauty's in-house experts tailor your subscription box to you, filling it with lots of high-end and emerging brands. I was particularly excited about a few of the products in this month's box, so I thought I'd run through it for you guys, to give you all an insight if you're thinking about signing up.

Caudalie Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil - £18 for 100ml (30ml in box)
I'm a big fan of Caudalie, and cleansing oils in general, so this was definitely a welcome sight in this month's box. I think 30ml is the ideal sample amount for this kind of product and so far I've found it works really well at removing my makeup. It has a subtle but pleasant scent to it, which is nice as I find a lot of oils can be quite overpowering in smell.

Dr Lipp Nipple Balm - £12 for 15ml (15ml in box)
Dr Lipp's Nipple Balm is definitely a hugely talked about cult beauty product that I was really excited to try. Although it's name might suggest otherwise, this product is brilliant at keeping your lips looking and feeling smooth and luscious. It also claims to be great at soothing skin, taming eyebrows, caring for nails and so much more. The ultimate multi-use product that costs £12 full-size - which is exactly what you get in the box!

Renu Lip and Eye Active Lift - £33.95 for 15ml (25ml in box)
I was probably the least excited about this product as it's not a brand I've heard of before, nor is it the kind of product that appeals to me. Although I definitely don't have mature skin, that's the target for this product and so I think I'll probably end up giving it to my mum. Definitely the most disappointing product in the box this month.

Makeup Forever HD Powder - £22 for 8g (4g in box)
By far my favourite product from this month's box, Makeup Forever's HD Powder is a product I have wanted to try forever. I am a HUGE fan of HD powders in general and knowing MUFE's offering is a bit of a cult product in itself, I was really excited to give this a try. It's not disappointed me so far and I'm so happy it was included in the box.

Caudalie Vinoperfect - £45 for 30ml (10ml in box)
Again, as I said earlier I'm a big fan of Caudalie anyway, so having another product from them in the box was fine with me. This product is meant to help fade dark spots and scars, which is ideal for someone like me with a lot of acne scarring. Here's hoping it works!

Tangle Teezer Blow Styling Hairbrush - £20
I love Tangle Teezer so this is another product that I was really happy to see in the box. I didn't even know Tangle Teezer did other brushes, but this full paddle blow styling hairbrush is designed to give salon professional results. Considering it costs £20 alone and the box is only £10 means it's definitely worth it!

Makeup Forever Excessive Lash Mascara - around £18 for 7ml (4.5ml in box)
Another product from MUFE, which definitely gets the thumbs up from me. I've heard a lot of good things about their mascaras so I'm excited to give this a go - although I'm struggling to find it on any UK sites at the moment!

Overall I am SO impressed with this month's box and would totally recommend Love Me Beauty if you're looking to try new brands, or just want a monthly dose of surprise beauty products tailored to you. Considering several of these items were full-size and many worth over the £10 price of the entire box, I think it is completely worth checking out. You can even get an extra 20% off with my code hannah20. Let me know if you decide to invest! Do you subscribe to any monthly beauty boxes? Let me know!
