Lancôme Juicy Shakers Review

Lancome Juicy Shakers* in Apri-Cute and Boom-Meringue - £18 each

If you haven't heard about the most exciting beauty launch so far this year, then where have you been hiding? Lancome have recently released a brand new product - the Juicy Shaker. Remember back in the day when everyone and their mother wanted the Lancome Juicy Tubes? Well, it looks like the Juicy Shakers are set to be the next big thing.

Available in thirteen fabulous shades (along with one limited edition 'Mint-to-Be' shade), Lancome touts the Juicy Shaker as the 'ultimate lipgloss'. The formula is a mix of oil and pigment, and is designed to make your lips feel healthy and nourished whilst making them look great. The gloss definitely leaves your lips feeling soft, smooth and moisturised - with omega 3, cranberry oil and sweet almond oil, your lips are definitely in for a treat with this new product.

The product itself smells incredible (I definitely think the sweet almond oil has a part to play there) and is super easy to apply thanks to the cushioned applicator. You simply shake the gloss up (it looks a bit like a gone-off nail polish prior to shaking - nice!) and pop it on and you're good to go. Now, these glosses definitely aren't the best if you're looking for a lot of colour pay-off and pigmentation, but in terms of how they make your lips feel they are one of a kind - I've never had a lipgloss that makes my lips feel this good, and it's not sticky at all - another big bonus.

I love the shades I've got - Apri-Cute is a delicious bright red-orange and Boom-Meringue is the perfect Barbie pink. On the lips, however, Apri-Cute is packs a much bigger punch than Boom-Meringue, as you can see from the swatches above.

Overall I think these are gorgeous new products that are definitely worth taking a look at. If you're after a new lipgloss that isn't sticky and is super nourishing on the lips, then the Juicy Shaker is definitely for you.
